April 18, 2016One week in London is the top prize sponsored by KL Interpreters for the Cross Straight Interpreting Contest. The winner this year is Yuechen Wang, a final year undergraduate from Beijing. More than 2,000 students from 210 universities across mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and the US entered the contest, now in its sixth year. It took six months for the 20 strong finalists to emerge. They were put through their paces in front of a panel of judges and a live audience of several hundred. We have been sponsoring the top prize since its inception. The finals of the contest are held in mainland China and Taiwan alternately.
