We are currently looking for an outstanding full-time Staff Interpreter (English/Mandarin) to join us in our London office.

Job Title: Staff Interpreter

Location: London

Reports to: Managing Director/Business Manager

Availability: Immediate start

Probationary Period: 3 months

Starting salary Range: £26,000 to £30,000 per annum

Your responsibilities

  • Be a member of the team that delivers a range of Chinese language related services
  • Provide interpreting service (liaison, consecutive and simultaneous interpreting) on behalf of the company to its customers/client
  • Provide training/support to colleagues and MA students in interpreting
  • Undertake translation work from the business manager from time to time
  • Undertake additional or other duties to meet the needs of the Company’s business


You must:

  • Be a native speaker of Chinese (Mandarin) with near native fluency in English or a native speaker of English with near native fluency in Chinese
  • Have at least one year of experience working as a full-time interpreter and possess strong skills in both consecutive and simultaneous interpreting
  • Be able to work in a team environment and under stress
  • Possess excellent multi-tasking capability
  • Demonstrate good professionalism and situation handling capability and adaptability



  • Starting salary from £26,000 to £30,000 per annum based on experience
